The mission of Young Imaginations is to improve education by placing the arts within the core of the educational process. This will be accomplished through children’s classes, teacher training, educational research, community outreach, and development of educational materials.

These programs and materials will:

• Develop skills and creativity

• Build self-esteem

• Expand children's awareness and respect for their own, as well as other, cultures

• Involve broad segments of the community

• Set in place guiding values and life skills

• Teach other disciplines through the arts
